About me:
I graduated from Brandon High School. I have my bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of South Florida and a law degree from Stetson University College of Law.
My husband, David, and I have a wonderful six-year-old daughter named Roxanna.
I was elected to the Hillsborough County Commission in 1998, and re-elected in 2002 and 2004. I am the Vice Chair of the Environmental Protection Commission and serve on the following boards and councils: Committee of 6, HARTline Authority, Metropolitan Planning Organization, Port Authority and Tampa Bay Water.
I find activist judges to be maddening. I'm often in the news and the object of tasteless jokes. I'm really a decent Christian woman and hope my community realizes this about me.
One of the controversial topics is my issue, which is the recent county ban on promoting homosexuality and events surrounding that lifestyle. I don't hate homosexuals, but feel they will not go to heaven in the afterlife because of their immoral behavior while here on Earth. The Bible says that man shall not lie with other men. I am merely trying to save them and prevent them from spending eternity in damnation. I think one day they will understand my plight. My constituents know that I promote morality.

Hey. Thank you for the add. It's about time someone stood up for the man upstairs in local politics. For far too long, moral depravity has run rampant throughout our area--most notably with the dregs of humanity: the homos. I too have suffered with this terrible plague that is commonly referred to as gay. Let me be the first to tell you, there is nothing "gay" about it at all. But pray not for me, Ronda. In the fall of 2007, I will have my vagina expunged from my lower torso and surgically formed into a penis, complete with tesicles formed from my bulbous labia. Then I too will be complete. I cannot wait for that glorious day when I will walk hand in hand with you along the path of righteousness, towards everlasting life in the wonderment of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
